Capital Markets

Capital-intensive investment processes are a hallmark of the modern economy. Businesses often lack the capacity to make investments exclusively with their own resources and therefore require to have additional outside capital involvement. The capital market makes it possible to link those in need of capital with those who have a surplus thereof. The flow of capital takes place through transactions using financial instruments.

Due to the need to protect the interests of participants in trading in financial instruments, the national and EU legislators have regulated the capital market extensively and in detail. Knowledge of this regulation is crucial for the proper functioning in the capital market, for the achievement of the set objectives and also for the avoidance of possible administrative and criminal sanctions.
